Coin Operated Girl
Hey Everyone! Last Myxie before Dragon Con, which is in about two Weeks SO CLOSE!!!
Really loved how this one turned out, that Red hair is what makes her so cute I think. She is attached to the little wooden block that TOOK FOREVER!!! I couldn’t get the letters the way I wanted…so I went with Shapes, and I think that actually fits her better :)
I sculpted her with little joints (not real) and she has a wind-up key in her back, to give her the whole Toy theme.
So what do ya think?
She is available on my Etsy Store

So I still have alot to do but I'm getting ever closer to being ready for the Art show. Super excited about this year, I have a bunch of new prints, new sculptures and Fun New Banners so you can all be sure to find me :)
Okay back to work, running out of time. Thanks for reading.

Oh that’s Creepy
Hello everyone! I have another Myxie to show you all. She was soooo much fun to make. She’s a little forgotten toy Ballerina, one of the best parts was adding the holes and dirt to her poor little tutu. Then sculpting her some joints and slumping her to one side gave the perfect touch, not to mention making her a bit creepy. Can’t have a good Forgotten Toy without the Creepy Aspect.
As for her seat, from the beginning I knew I wanted her to sit on a little Alphabet Block but I was having a hard time finding one, I just needed one, so I decided to just make it myself. With the right paint, clay can look a lot like wood :) So What do you think?
