Three inch tall Pets Anyone?

As an Artist that makes one of a kind animal sculptures, one question comes up often... "Can you make a sculpture of my pet?" Well the answer is, Yes I can...probably :P
I have made tiny copies of customer's beloved fur babies for a few years now. Each little fuzzy family member has their own personality and I try to convey that in each piece.
I start by getting several photos of your sweet pet for reference. I begin with the face of the animal, because that is usually the most difficult and most important part.

Once the body is sculpted I can add wings, steampunk or any other fun accessories to the piece to make it unique to the customer.

I have also had unique poses requested to help the sculpture convey the pets personality even more.

And don't think this fun keep sake can only work for dogs, I have made cats too. :)

This sculpture was made to hold a forget-me-not necklace.

A lovely gift for someone looking for a different way to commemorate a pet or just for a sweet tiny copy of a furry companion.

Want to request a custom commission sculpture? Just send me a message on Etsy or you can email at mysticreflections@gmail.com and I can give you a quote.

The Steampunk Pals take Dragon Con!

Last day to get things in order before we leave to set up at Dragon Con. I am packing everything up today, all my little creations will be wrapped and put in tubs for the ride to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which will be their home for 4 days. They are super excited.

I will be in the Art Show September 2nd through the 5th. I have a Gallery, Auction Table and a Booth where I will have prints and sculptures available. My booth is on the back wall where I usually am, the 8th table from the right but you can just look for the Mystic Reflections Banner. I will have new prints available at my booth along with my Steampunk animal pals, Gryphons, Dragon Pals and their Steampunk Dragon cousins.

Also this year I am going to try something different and I hope fun...Mystery Boxes! Each Box will contain a retired Myxie or Fantasy sculpture, these mystery boxes will be $50 each ($100 value sculptures) I only have 5 available. Exciting to see which piece you might get.

I hope to see you all there, Lets get this Con started! :D

Little Caterpillars will one day be Beautiful Catterflies

Catterflies, little creatures that spend their days jumping from flower to flower, drinking the sweet morning dew and sunbathing on top of fluffy beds of pollen.
Catterflies come in an array of bright colors and enjoy lazily lounging in the warm summer breeze.

I hand sculpted each of this little guys out of polymer clay and use translucent polymer for their little wings.

Thank you so much for reading about my little creations.

Keep checking my blogs and Facebook page for my newest pieces.

P.S. I will be at Rev Fest this weekend and will have my prints with me, my husband will have some of his novels and will be signing them for you. Also my sister will be with us and have some of her wonderful handmade pieces and some crafting supplies available. So be sure you come on by to see us. :)
