The Steampunk Pals take Dragon Con!

Last day to get things in order before we leave to set up at Dragon Con. I am packing everything up today, all my little creations will be wrapped and put in tubs for the ride to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which will be their home for 4 days. They are super excited.

I will be in the Art Show September 2nd through the 5th. I have a Gallery, Auction Table and a Booth where I will have prints and sculptures available. My booth is on the back wall where I usually am, the 8th table from the right but you can just look for the Mystic Reflections Banner. I will have new prints available at my booth along with my Steampunk animal pals, Gryphons, Dragon Pals and their Steampunk Dragon cousins.

Also this year I am going to try something different and I hope fun...Mystery Boxes! Each Box will contain a retired Myxie or Fantasy sculpture, these mystery boxes will be $50 each ($100 value sculptures) I only have 5 available. Exciting to see which piece you might get.

I hope to see you all there, Lets get this Con started! :D

Dragon Con is that you?!

Hello everyone! So as some of you may know I am getting ready for Dragon Con currently, a Fantasy/Sci-Fi convention in Atlanta at the beginning of September...it is right around the corner EEP!
For the past 8 years I have been part of the DCon Art Show, where I have a Gallery/Auction table and a vending table. I will finish up the gallery pieces this week hopefully, here are just a few of the newest pieces that will be available in my Galley.
"Pick a Card" Jester Framed Sculpture

After the gallery pieces are complete, I will work on the pieces for my vending table. On my table I sell prints, pendants and Steampunk animal pals which you can see on my Etsy store.
My polymer clay sculptures are all handmade one of a kind and I do not use any molds so in-order to make sure I have plenty of inventory for the Art show I have to get started several weeks before. My little Steampunk critters are a fan favorite so I better get back to work. :)

Make sure to keep checking my blog and FaceBook page to see my progress.

What I am Working on for Steampunk Expo

It's been a little while since I've blogged, Facebooking & Instagraming I am good at but trying to remember to blog often ... it's probably just easier to say I am lazy LOL :P
Anyhoo, I have a convention coming up in April, Steampunk Expo. I'm super excited about this show because it will be the first Steampunk Con I've been to, my work should fit in nicely don't you think? :)
So I have been getting ready for the show by working on some new pocket watches. I sculpt polymer clay fairies and animals into hollowed out pocket watch casings to create a sculpture that you can wear. This convention seems to be very cosplay driven so I figured I would make plenty of pieces for the costumed attendees to choose from. So here are a few of the most recent ones I have sculpted.

Hummingbird; carry one in your pocket watch for good luck.

Myxies peeking out of their pocket watch world.

Scorpions are a symbol of protection in some cultures.

Clever Fox knows how to keep time on his side.

I am really enjoying creating these new pieces and I hope that the Steampunk Expo attendees with enjoy them too. Well time to get back to sculpting. :)

Thanks for reading, keep checking my sites for more updates on what I am working on.

DRAGON CON IS ALMOST HERE!!!

Wow! This month went by so fast, I feel like I just started working on my pieces for the Dragon Con Art Show and BAM Dragon Con is this FRIDAY!!!! Super excited to see all my artist friends again and all the fun, wacky, crazy, nerdy people that attend D-Con, present company not excluded :D
I have some pieces that are debuting this year that I am so very excited about, my Framed Sculptures.
White as Snow , Beast's beauty , Lady D'Muertos They will be hanging in my Auction Gallery at the Art show and I can't wait to see what people think of them.
Also I will have my Steampunk Pocket Watch Myxies available at my booth. Carry a Myxie in your pocket and have good luck wherever you go.
As always I will have all my Steampunk Dragons and animals, patiently waiting for someone to take them home :)

I have been frantically working to get enough of these guys done for the show, I don't have as many as last year so make sure to get to my booth early before they are all gone.
I wasn't able to get all the Steampunk animals that I wanted done but I hope to be able to make a few more after the show, before the Holidays.

Looking forward to meeting all you lovely people, so make sure to stop by and say Hello to my Myxies and Pals!

Arctic Slumber

I was feeling all whimsical and wanted to sculpt a bit of fantasy so I made this little guy last night.
I still added a bit of Steampunk to him though, just because Steampunk is awesome and I am so into it right now LOL :)
I call him Arctic Slumber Fox. Doesn’t he make you just wanna curl up under the covers and nap? :D

Arctic Slumber Fox, available on my Etsy Store.

Still working on a few more of these, so keep checking my blog for the newest Steampunk Myxie Pals.

Oooo So FOXY!

LOVED creating this little guy. He might be my favorite so far…though I still have a soft spot for the rabbit Myxie Pal I made…but making a Fox took a bit more time and it was fun painting all the bright colors on him.

This Steampunk Fox is available on my Etsy Store. https://www.etsy.com/listing/126188399/sly-fox-steampunk-myxie-pal

Planning another Fox soon ….since I enjoyed sculpting this one so much :)…. The next one will be a little more whimsical, very fantasy-esk but still Steampunky…and if none of that makes any since to you, than you will have to wait until I post a photo to see what I’m talking about :P

Thank for reading, keep checking my blog for updates on what I’m working on.

A Few More Pendants

Hello,
I’ve finished a few more pendants. I’m cranking them out a little slower then I was but that’s just because I’ve started work on some of the gallery pieces for Dragon Con. I only have about 5 more pendants and then that will probably be it for a few months so I can finish some more Myxies.
Okay so in this group I’m blogging about today I tried a couple of cute fuzzy creatures. A fox with a little maple leaf in his tummy, like a Care Bear Heehee, and a cute white Squirrel with a Clock. Then there’s my FAVORITE one I’ve done so far, a lucky Frog. The Frog is all cute and fat, with green, blue and gold coloring, you just have to love him. :)
So What do you think?

Thanks for reading, keep checking my Blog for updates on my art.
